MUMBAI, India (AP) — Jess Cameron and Ellyse Perry led Australia to a 114-run victory over West Indies to win the Women's cricket World Cup a record sixth time.

Cameron struck 75 off 76 balls to help Australia score a formidable 259-7 after having elected to bat in the final. The No.3 batter added 64 for the second wicket with opener Rachael Haynes (52), dominating the bowling with eight fours and two sixes.

Captain Jodie Fields (36 not out) and opener Meg Lanning (31) were the other main contributors for Australia.

Perry then accounted for the top order with her pace bowling as West Indies lost its way from 32-0 in the 10th over to be bowled out for 145 in 43.1 overs. Perry claimed 3-19.

West Indies captain Merissa Aguilleira top-scored for her team with 23 and Kyshona Knight remained unbeaten on 21, but Australia maintained control of the game with offspinners Lisa Sthalekar (2-20) and Erine Osborne (2-26) doing well late in the innings.

"We dominated the game, we batted well and then had some good bowling efforts," Fields said. "We spoke a lot about coming into this match and dominating and I think we did that. What else can you ask for?"
