NEW RECORDS: Stocks posted tiny gains on Friday, but they were enough to set new all-time highs for the Dow Jones industrial average and the S&P 500 index.

SORRY, NASDAQ: Friday's close at 3,600 means it still has a long way to go to regain its all-time high of 5,048, reached in March 2000.

WHAT'S NEXT: Monday includes retail sales data and Citigroup results. Tuesday brings inflation data and results from Coca-Cola and Goldman Sachs. On Wednesday, Bank of America, Intel, and American Express all report results.
