Dame Julie Andrews, star of The Sound of Music and Mary Poppins, will make her first New Zealand visit to appear on stage.
Andrews, 77, will talk an audience through her life story in An Evening with Julie Andrews, at The Edge in Auckland on June 4.
The evening will be hosted by Nicholas Hammond, who played Friedrich von Trapp, one of the children in The Sound of Music.
Andrews' stage career started in London when she was 12.
Her singing voice did not recover after a botched operation on her throat in 1997.
But she has continued to star in films including the Princess Diaries and co-written children's books with her daughter.
