Man arrested over fireworks find
A 36-year-old Pakenham was arrested this morning following the seizure of illegal fireworks.
Officers with the joint Victoria Police and WorkSafe operation swooped in on the Pakenham property just before 8:00am (AEDT).
The fireworks were found in a vehicle on the property.
The man is in police custody and expected to be charged on summons with possessing an explosive substance.
Police say the raid is part of a wider investigation into the sale of commercial-grade fireworks to unlicensed people.
