Lady Gaga's postponed four shows after a severe case of joint inflammation has left her unable to walk.

The pop star tweeted that she injured herself during a performance some time ago and her condition has worsened over the last month.

Makeup dates for the missed shows will be announced later with the remainder of the tour expected to continue on schedule.

Alec Baldwin and his wife are expecting their first child.

Hilaria Baldwin wed the actor last June after a three month engagement and is due to give birth late this summer.

Alec Baldwin already has a seventeen year-old daughter, Ireland, from his previous marriage to actress Kim Basinger.

Another celebrity couple expecting a child are Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem.

It will be their second child - the actors already have a baby boy called Leo who was born in January twenty-eleven.
