Police are investigating destruction of a cucumber crop on Adelaide's northern outskirts.
They said 700 cucumber vines were pulled out in a greenhouse near Arbequina road at Virginia, some time between Sunday night and Monday morning.
All the plants died, resulting in a crop loss of about $7,000.
Police said it would have taken a considerable time to pull out all the vines.
