A three-year-old child is believed to have accidentally started a $50,000 house fire in Mandurah.

Emergency crews were called to the home on Wyeree Street at 8:00 on Sunday morning.

It took 10 firefighters about 15 minutes to contain the blaze.

One bedroom has been destroyed, the rest of the house received smoke damage.
