Nauru foreign minister resigns
Nauru's foreign minister Kieren Keke has resigned from cabinet.
A media statement from Nauru's government information office said "no reason" had been given for Dr Keke's decision.
The resignation was announced at the start of Thursday's parliamentary sitting by Speaker Ludwig Scotty.
Dr Keke has been a supporter of the Australian government's decision to resume offshore processing of asylum seekers in his country.
