Man charged over Gold Coast stabbing

A 19-year-old man has been stabbed on the Gold Coast.
Police say he was stabbed in the back and his lung was punctured in a dispute with another man at Southport last night.
They say the men knew each other.
The injured man had surgery last night and his injuries are not considered life threatening.
A 21-year-old man has been charged with unlawful wounding and is due to appear in the Southport Magistrates Court this morning.
