Water search for body after sighting reported

An air and sea search is under way in north Queensland after reports of a body floating in the water.
A police spokesman says a member of the public reported seeing the body at the Mackay Harbour just before 7:30pm (AEST) last night.
A search of the beach area last night and this morning failed to find anything.
Water police, volunteer marine rescue, and a rescue helicopter are searching the area.
