The case of the disappearing blue cow remains a mystery, but fortunately the bovine made it home safely.
A fibreglass cow statue, nicknamed Annabelle, was stolen from the front of the East Bentleigh Vet, east of Melbourne, on Christmas Eve.
The kidnappers did not leave a ransom note.
However, much to the relief of vet staff, Annabelle was returned safe and well on Thursday night.
