Police divers will this morning join the search for a man reported missing on the Gold Coast.

The 55-year-old Korean national was last seen socialising in the Broadbeach area on Tuesday night.

He was reported missing just before noon the following day.

Search and rescue teams spent yesterday scouring the Cascade Gardens waterways and foreshore areas but there was no sign of the man.

He is described as being of Asian appearance, 170 centimetres tall, with a heavy build and black shoulder-length hair.
