1. SOUNDBITE (English ) Tom Hooper, Director (on the film's success):

"The most gratifying thing remains the way audiences are responding. Wherever I travel around the world the stories of how tearful and emotional people get and how the movie touched them is the biggest reward. But you know I was absolutely thrilled about The Golden Globe win for Best Picture for a Musical and for Hugh Jackman and Anne Hathaway and you know I didn't expect it at all. It was like like a kind of bolt of lightening shot through me when I heard the news."

3. SOUNDBITE (English ) Tom Hooper, Director (on if the Oscars feel different this time around):

"When I did 'The King's Speech' it was all new and it's actually the structure of awards season is quite regimented and so it's definitely nice to have done it before and be a little bit more relaxed. Without doubt the most stressful thing about awards season is the possibility that you might have to make a speech and what you feel about that. I don't think nerves about that will ever go away. But no otherwise I'm just pleased to be here."

5. SOUNDBITE (English ) Tom Hooper, Director (on the Academy Awards):

"The great thing about the awards season is getting to spend more time with my cast. I have such a wonderful ensemble of actors. To hang out with Hugh Jackman, Anne Hathaway, Amanda Seyfried and Eddie Redmayne. They are some of the nicest, smartest people I've ever met and it's just a great excuse to spend time with them and to get to party with them. We didn't get to do it much during the shoot so it's nice to do it now."
