Print PagePolice have called an attack on a 16-year-old girl in Swan View heinous and cowardly.
Claudia Denton was set upon by a group of six people after getting off a bus yesterday evening.
She said she remembers one girl jumping on her head before she woke up some time later alone on the pavement.
"This girl hit me in the face and I fell down and then she started kicking me in the head," she said.
"And, I tried to get back up but a guy grabbed me by my waist and slung me on the ground and then he started kicking me in the stomach."
Police have urged anyone who saw anything on Myles Road around 6:00 pm last night to contact Crime Stoppers.
