A man will face court charged with attempted murder after another man was shot in the leg in Sydney's southwest.
Police were called to a unit in Harrow Road, Auburn about 6.30pm on Sunday following reports of a shooting.
A 23-year-old Auburn man was found nearby on the street with a gunshot wound to his leg.
He was treated in hospital and later released.
A 24-year-old Sefton man was arrested on Monday morning and subsequently charged with shooting with intent to murder and discharging a firearm with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
He was refused bail to appear in Burwood Local Court on Tuesday.
Investigations are continuing to identify a second offender.
