Rip claims life of UK tourist in WA

A 47-year-old man from the United Kingdom has died after being caught in a rip while holidaying in Western Australia.
Police said the man perished off Clayton Beach at Mindarie, north of Perth, around 5pm WST on Sunday.
They have not released the man's identity and will prepare a report for the coroner.
