NAGOYA, Japan (AP) — Japanese striker
Kensuke Nagai has joined Belgian side Standard Liege.
Nagai agreed to a deal running through to the summer of 2017, his J-League team Nagoya Grampus announced on Sunday.
Nagai will join Japan national team goalkeeper Eiji Kawashima, who went to the 10-time Belgian champions last year after a two-year stint with Lierse.
The 23-year-old Nagai scored twice as Japan's under-23 squad reached the semifinals of the London Olympics. He scored 10 goals for Nagoya last season.
