Teen hitchhiker assaulted in NSW
A teenage hitchhiker has been assaulted in northern NSW.
Police say the 17-year-old was assaulted after getting into a car that stopped for him Brunswick Heads around 10.40 pm (AEDT) on Saturday.
He managed to get out of the car uninjured and raise the alarm with police.
His alleged attacker is described as about 60-years-old with grey hair and freckles.
Police are investigating.
