The family of a Sydney dance teacher who was killed in his bed almost 14 years ago has appealed for information about the murder.
A reward of $100,000 has been posted by authorities looking for the person who killed Anthony Attard in June 1999.
The rock 'n' roll dance teacher was found with head injuries in his Girraween home.
Police think the 38-year-old was attacked in his sleep with a heavy weapon, which has not been found.
Detectives say Mr Attard was last seen alive by a colleague when they had coffee together.
They say he was much-loved by friends and family, operated a successful dance school and had no known enemies.
Today Mr Attard's sister, Donna Sim, joined police in appealing for anyone with information about his death to come forward.
"It's totally ruined our lives," she said.
"My mum hardly ever gets out of the house. You find you can't trust people.
"I believe that it killed my dad - we lost my dad a few months ago."
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
