Grassfire controlled at Uriarra Crossing

Fire crews are mopping up after a grassfire near Uriarra Crossing on the New South Wales - ACT border.

Previously 19 fire units and a water bombing helicopter were on the scene in Canberra's west, where the fire burnt out approximately six hectares.

A bulldozer is also on scene cutting a containment line around the fire.

The ACT Emergency Services Agency says there was no risk to property.
