Grain futures jump, livestock prices mixed

CHICAGO (AP) — Grains futures jumped Monday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for March delivery rose 12.25 cents to $7.67 a bushel; March corn rose 15.25 cents to $7.24 a bushel; March oats rose 7.25 cents to $3.54 a bushel; while March soybeans jumped 44.75 cents to $14.18 a bushel.

Beef futures fell, while pork futures rose on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

February live cattle fell 0.25 cent to $1.3035 a pound; March feeder cattle slipped 0.03 cent to $1.5142 a pound; February lean hogs rose 1.02 cent to 85.22 cents a pound.
