Medtronic fell $.12 or .3 percent, to $43.95.
St. Jude Medical Inc. rose $.39 or 1.0 percent, to $38.68.
Stryker fell $.52 or .9 percent, to $58.32.
Zimmer Holdings Inc. fell $.58 or .8 percent, to $70.59.
