AUTHORITIES SAY IN THIS CASE A 29-YEAR-OLD WOMAN WAS THE ONLY PASSENGER ON A BUS AS SHE WAS TRAVELING TO HER VILLAGE IN THE NORTHERN PUNJAB ON FRIDAY NIGHT.

THE DRIVER AND THE CONDUCTOR TOOK HER TO A DESOLATE LOCATION WHERE THEY WERE JOINED BY FIVE OTHERS...

THEY ALL TOOK TURNS RAPING HER BEFORE FINALLY DROPPING HER OFF IN HER VILLAGE THE NEXT MORNING.

OFFICIALS SAY THE VICTIM HAS UNDERGONE A MEDICAL EXAM AND IS NOW RECOVERING AT HOME.

ALL SIX OF THE MEN IN POLICE CUSTODY HAVE APPARENTLY ADMITTED THEIR INVOLVEMENT IN THE ATTACK.

POLICE ARE STILL SEARCHING FOR ONE MORE SUSPECT.
